1. Overview

Songli ("we", "our", "the platform") provides an AI-powered service that generates personalized birthday songs and video clips based on user-submitted information (names, dates, and musical genre preferences). By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Service Description

You provide a recipient's name and/or birth date, a music genre and optional interests. Third-party AI models then compose a song (audio and lyrics) and, after purchase, a karaoke video, produced for your order and delivered on a private watch page. Because the output is generated by AI, results vary and may contain errors (for example in pronunciation or lyrics).

3. AI-Generated Content & Your License

Songs are created automatically by AI models. We do not guarantee that any output is unique, that it does not resemble existing songs, melodies or lyrics, or that it is eligible for copyright protection — in many countries AI-generated works cannot be copyrighted.

When your payment is complete, we grant you a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, copy and share your song for personal, non-commercial purposes — for example as a gift, at private events, or on your personal social media. Commercial use (advertising, resale, monetized streaming or distribution, or use in commercial products) is not included.

Platforms such as YouTube, Instagram or TikTok may automatically flag or restrict AI-generated music. We are not responsible for such actions. You may not claim ownership of our AI models, prompts, platform or technology, or resell outputs as a competing service.

4. Your Inputs & Responsibility

You are responsible for everything you submit. By submitting a name or other details you confirm that you have the right to use them and that the song is intended for that person. Do not submit the names of celebrities or other public figures, trademarks, or third-party lyrics; our AI providers may reject such requests. You agree to indemnify Songli against claims arising from your inputs or from how you use or share your song.

5. Refunds — All Sales Final

Every song is custom-generated and delivered immediately, so all sales are final and non-refundable once generation has started. By purchasing, you request immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that, where applicable law allows, you lose any statutory right of withdrawal once delivery begins. If a verified technical failure prevents delivery of a completed song, contact support@songli.space within 14 days. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law. Full details in our Refund Policy.

6. Free Preview & Paid Unlock

Songli offers a free 15-second preview of every generated song. The full song is unlocked instantly upon payment — no account registration is required.

7. Your Song Link, Sharing & YouTube

Each song lives at a private, hard-to-guess link that is not listed or indexed by search engines. Anyone you give the link to can open it, so share it only with people you trust. The owner actions (downloads, sharing to YouTube) are available only on the device that created the song or via the private link in your payment receipt from our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy.

If you choose to share your song to YouTube, it is published publicly on Songli's YouTube channel, including the recipient's first name in the title. Only do this if the recipient agrees. You can ask us to remove a video at any time via support@songli.space, and we may remove content at our discretion.

8. Availability & Storage

We keep your song and lyrics available on your watch page, but we do not guarantee indefinite storage or uninterrupted availability. The karaoke video download is available for a limited time after creation — please download it promptly and keep your own copies.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Songli to:

• Generate content that is defamatory, hateful, harassing or sexual.
• Impersonate another individual or create content about someone without their consent.
• Submit inputs designed to produce harmful or illegal content.
• Use bots or automated tools, bypass limits or payment, or reverse-engineer, scrape or abuse our APIs.

We may refuse or remove content and block access that violates these terms.

10. Intellectual Property

The Songli brand, logo, website, prompts and underlying technology are the property of Songli. Generated songs are licensed to the purchaser as described in Section 3.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Songli is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of lyrics or pronunciation, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.

12. Payment Processing

Payments are handled by our Merchant of Record (a third-party payment provider) that processes payments, collects applicable taxes, and issues receipts on our behalf. By purchasing, you also agree to the provider's terms. Prices are in USD. See our Refund Policy for payment disputes and chargebacks.

13. Eligibility

The service is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EU). To make a purchase you must be an adult or have the permission of a parent or guardian.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
